The fourth annual Pyka Plunge attracted a strong-willed crowd ready to endure the cold waters of Puget Sound on New Year's Day at Lighthouse Park.

Most took a quick dip in the water before heading back to the beach to warm up around the fire pits.

The free event was hosted by Kula Cloth.
